Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to lead cross-functional cloud initiatives from concept to market.

You will align Engineering, Product, Network Operations, Sales, Services, and Support to drive the product roadmap and deliver high-impact programs across the organization. You will analyze risks, manage dependencies, communicate status to senior leaders, and maintain a live roadmap of committed work.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience identifying and managing project dependencies.
• Experience with Internet technologies or protocols (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP).
• Strong communication and coordination across global teams.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations, Sales, Services, and Support to support the product roadmap
• Analyzing risks and developing contingency plans

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrate experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Possess experience in Identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestones
• Have experience working with Internet technologies or protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Be able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability
• Have good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from 92,900 - 167,100 CAD/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
