Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to provide end-to-end support across multiple product suites and to act as the trusted security contact, guiding customers to leverage Akamai's solutions.

You will be the central point of contact for customers, lead the integrated account team to deliver success, review integration efficiency, identify improvements, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry
• Understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures
• Natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments
• Experience in delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities
• Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment

You’ll be the security contact, ensuring the integration and support of customers. Acting as a trusted consultant, you’ll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's products.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from CA$109,900 - CA$197,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
