Job summary

Laking Toyota is seeking a Product Advisor in Sudbury, Ontario to join the Sales Department. The role involves assisting customers with vehicle purchases or leases, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining product knowledge.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays and a valid driver’s license. We offer a competitive salary with benefits and opportunities for growth within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of automotive sales or related sales experience preferred.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as required.

Responsibilities

• Professionally assist customers with purchase or lease of a vehicle.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain knowledge of dealership vehicles, products and services.
• Present and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
• Coordinate and accompany customers on vehicle test drives.
• Follow up with customer inquiries, leads and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activities in dealership systems.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Advisor to join our Sales Department.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented and results-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Honest, enthusiastic and professional, with a positive attitude
• Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of automotive sales or related sales experience preferred
• Valid OMVIC registration or willingness to obtain it
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Availability to work dealership sales hours, including evenings and Saturdays, as required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Professionally assist customers with the purchase or lease of a vehicle
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Maintain strong knowledge of dealership vehicles, products and services
• Present and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits
• Coordinate and accompany customers on vehicle test drives
• Follow up with customer inquiries, leads and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activities in dealership systems
• Complete and maintain all required Toyota University training courses
• Follow dealership sales procedures, OMVIC requirements and applicable policies
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers and other dealership departments
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout the sales process
• Assist with vehicle displays and lot organization as required
