Responsibilities:
  1. Properly train staff to understand policies and communicate effectively with customers.
  2. Schedule department appropriately to meet business needs.
  3. Handle customer complaints efficiently and properly.
  4. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety and Food Safety policies within the store.
  5. Train and motivate staff; delegate and prioritize workload.
  6. Merchandise advertising and promotional programs effectively.
  7. Recommend achievable sales goals.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
  9. Manage receiving, storing, and handling of products for efficiency.
  10. Ensure proper product rotation and signage for displays.
  11. Maintain pricing integrity.
  12. Take accountability for store operations in the absence of the Franchisee.
  13. Perform other duties to ensure courteous service, competitive pricing, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications/Experience:
  1. 2 years of Produce Management experience preferred.
  2. Understanding of critical success factors for a discount food store focusing on low price image.
  3. Knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, invoice checking, and cleanliness standards.
  4. Excellent communication and customer focus skills.
  5. Ability to manage people and work independently.
  6. Solid knowledge of produce operations and products.
  7. Open availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
