Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Victoria, BC is hiring an Assistant Department Manager, Produce. The role requires open availability for 40 hours per week and offers opportunities to lead a team in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The successful candidate will coach and develop team members, focus on Always Customer First service, and apply local market knowledge to grow the business while ensuring accurate stock counts and strong community engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Food Safe Certification is required.
• Commitment to customer first service.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading a team, acting as coach and mentor.
