Job summary

PCL Construction's Canadian Industrial Division in Edmonton is seeking a Procurement Student for an 8-month term starting in January 2027. You will support sourcing materials, services and equipment under the District Procurement Manager, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced construction environment.

This internship provides exposure to vendor selection, procurement reporting, inventory coordination, and safety practices, with mentoring and opportunities to learn industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program in a supply chain/operations discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed according to policy.
• Identify and select vendors meeting price, quality, safety and delivery criteria.
• Expedite orders and manage shipping/receiving.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare procurement reports.
• Provide equipment administration support and safety compliance.
