Job summary

PCL Construction is inviting applications for a Procurement Student in Montréal, QC. This 4- or 8-month placement starts January 2027 and offers hands-on procurement experience across RFQs, POs, price lists and reporting.

You will support vendor management, deliveries and site communications, while developing organization and bilingual communication skills. Ideal candidates are post-secondary students in supply chain or related fields, with strong attention to detail, numbers, teamwork and

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of procurement including RFQs, Purchase Orders, price lists and reports.
• Maintain vendor files, track purchase orders, monitor deliveries and liaise with site personnel.
• Provide administrative support to Procurement, including scheduling, inventories, and records.

Responsibilities

Join us as a Procurement Student for our Montreal district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 or 8 months starting January 2027.

• Helps in all aspects of the procurement process including Requests for Quotes, Purchase Orders, Price Lists, Reports, etc.
• Assist in maintaining vendor files, tracking purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and corresponding with site personnel.
• Provide administrative support to the Procurement department, including scheduling meetings, issuing inventory reports, and maintaining records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement department.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong time management skills.
• Good with numbers and place a large emphasis on attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
• Strong computer skills.
• Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be considered an asset.
• Bilingualism (French/English).

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role andwork location.
