Job summary

One Degree Organic Foods is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Canada. You will source ingredients and packaging for our plant-powered products, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings while maintaining quality and compliance.

You have 3–5+ years in sourcing and purchasing in manufacturing, with lean practices, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel. Travel to visit suppliers may be required.

Responsibilities

• Champion procurement activities in a busy food production environment.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage material requirements and logistics.
• Source food ingredients and packaging following established policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot pricing, delays, deliveries, quality and inventory with internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate and track contracts with suppliers, providing data and reports to support decisions.
• May work weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel to visit suppliers and attend industry events.

POSITION: Procurement Specialist REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team! Our Supply Chain Specialist will be sourcing and purchasing ingredients for our delicious, plant-powerful products.

• May on occasion work at various times including weekends, as the job requires.

Salary - $62,000 - $75,000
