Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan seeks a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist for an energy sector project. This 6 month contract has a strong extension potential and offers exposure to mine project logistics, warehousing, camp management and large-scale contracts.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing, tender management, supplier negotiations and contract mobilisation, working with internal teams to balance value and risk on multi-million dollar contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience handling contracts valued between $5M and $80M across multiple projects.
• Proven purchasing experience in energy or related sectors.
• Relevant supply chain credentials and certifications.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end sourcing and tender management for multiple initiatives.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project needs.
• Conduct commercial evaluations, negotiations and recommendations.
• Lead contract development, award and mobilisation activities.
• Manage suppliers and key stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to identify value and risk.
• Engage confidently with internal customers and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate multiple sourcing activities at pace while prioritising tasks.

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist in the energy Sector in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. 6 month contract with highly expected extension. Ideally local candidates but potential for fly in/out too. Experience with projects including warehousing, camp management, logistics and infrastructure management would be an asset.
