Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate RFx processes and sourcing strategies for large electrical equipment such as emergency power systems, distribution systems, lighting, and lighting controls systems.
• Develop and prepare RFx documentation with defined commercial conditions.
• Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
• Solicit and analyze proposals; negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions for complex projects.
• Evaluate all elements of specialized materials, components, and services to meet specifications.
• Establish pricing, delivery, and contractual terms to satisfy financial, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Understand supplier capacity, capabilities, and manufacturing processes in relation to project requirements.
• Manage supply and supplier commitments post-purchase order, including change management.

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in business or engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, pursuits, or estimating for large electrical projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high ownership attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Project Specific Output Specifications (PSOS).
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or MS Dynamics) is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask proactively, and manage multiple priorities.
