Job summary

DRA Global Limited is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Lead based out of Toronto or Montreal, working in a hybrid schedule. You will manage supplier relationships, oversee RFQs/RFPs in English and French, and provide procurement and contract advice to the Owner's team.

DRA Global Limited is an international multi-disciplinary engineering, project delivery and operations management group, predominantly focused on the mining, minerals and metals industry.

industries, as well as related non-process infrastructure such as, water, and energy solutions.

DRA covers all major mining centers with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and the Asia-Pacific.

We are seeking a Procurement and Contracts Leadbased out of our Toronto or Montreal Office, working in a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous performance improvement using contract key metrics such as HSE, Schedule, and Cost.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of prequalification, preparation, issuance, receipt, opening, evaluation of RFQs/RFPs, and contract awards in both English and French.
• Represent DRA/Owner's team on procurement and contracting matters at internal and external meetings.
• Provide procurement and contract advice to DRA/Owner's team.
• Participate in contract audits and review records for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure efficient management of commercial and contractual correspondence with contractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure commitments and milestones are achieved, and expedite contractor and supplier progress.

Prepare, update, and maintain Procurement Status Reports, including:

• Procurement strategies
• Contracts awarded

Oversee implementation of the EPCM Procurement Plan within assigned commodity groups.

Administer contract orders, including:

• Change orders
• Compliance monitoring
• Invoice processing and verification
• Performance evaluations

Work closely with engineering and construction teams regarding revisions and amendments.

Participate in post-award meetings to ensure alignment between Owner and Contractors.

Maintain working relationships with:

• Project Procurement, Project Controls
• Planning teams
• Construction Superintendents, Contractors/Subcontractors and Site personnel
• Provide coaching, support, and guidance to team members.
• Escalate complex issues to the Procurement Director or Project Manager when necessary.
• Coordinate project familiarization and procurement feedback sessions.
• Liaise with legal counsel and management regarding procurement liabilities.
• Assist Project Controls in resolving administrative issues involving significant expenditure, technical specifications, or commercial conditions.

Requirements:

• Experience within EPCM/EPC/Mining environments
• Good understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, taxation, and commercial issues
• Procurement of long lead items, major/capital equipment, bulk materials, and critical equipment for large-scale projects
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, procurement documents, and commercial contracts

The compensation range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
