Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta, Calgary location, is seeking a part-time, on-site Retail Associate to support donations processing and customer service at Beacon Heights. This temporary 3-month contract offers 15–24.5 hours weekly, with weekend and evening shifts possible.

You’ll sort and grade donations, assist shoppers, and help maintain clean, organized shelves while delivering friendly, world-class service to every customer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 15 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.
• Identifies high-end and/or designer quality donations for special pricing.
• Tracks production targets and completes production sheets as per SOPs.
• Transports items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves, bins or racks.
• Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and remove stock that is being rotated as needed.
• Assists Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers.
• Providing world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.
