Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta on the Trail in St. Albert, AB is seeking a full-time, hourly associate to join our retail team. The role involves sorting donations, identifying high-end items, and supporting the sales floor with friendly customer service.

You will work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and contribute to a welcoming store environment while helping Albertans through Goodwill's mission.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum age of 15 or older.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • The ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
  • Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.
  • Identifies high-end and/or designer quality donations for special pricing.
  • Tracks production targets and completes production sheets as per SOPs.
  • Transports items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves, bins or racks.
  • Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and remove stock that is being rotated as needed.
  • Assists Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers.
  • Providing world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.

What you’ll be doing
