Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is seeking a part-time Retail Associate in Calgary. You will sort and grade donations, identify high-end items, stock shelves, and assist customers at the sales floor and checkout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 15 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and grades donations to determine what is sellable.
• Identifies high-end and/or designer quality donations for special pricing.
• Tracks production targets and completes production sheets as per SOPs.
• Transports items to and from the sales floor and places on shelves, bins or racks.
• Tidy shelves, racks, bins or displays and remove stock that is being rotated as needed.
• Assists Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers.
• Providing world class customer service to all Goodwill customers.

What you'll be doing:

• The ability to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• The ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques. (A strong asset but not a deal-breaker)

• You demonstrate teamwork and engage fellow Team Members in contributing to Goodwill's mission & core purpose.
• You have an open and honest attitude while making moral decisions.
