Job summary

ProMinent Fluid Controls in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a combined Business Development and Product Manager for the Process Pumps portfolio. You will drive growth, manage the product lifecycle, and strengthen customer and distributor relationships across North America.

You will team with Sales, Marketing, Technical groups, travel 40–60% and coordinate with headquarters in Germany to ensure aligned growth and market success.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years in business development, product management, sales, or related technical/commercial role in process pump/industrial env.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion for Process Pumps.
  • Identify, pursue, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with customers and distributors.
  • Own the Process Pumps portfolio: lifecycle, pricing, positioning, forecasting.
  • Provide technical expertise to Sales and Marketing with tools and training.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to guide strategy.
  • Lead marketing initiatives: campaigns, events, product launches.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Technical teams to drive growth.
  • Engage with customers via site visits, trials, and events.
