Working as a Process Operator at our St. Clair Ethanol Plant offers several perks. You will be part of a team supporting the largest ethanol production facility in the country, producing 400 million litres annually. Minimum Requirements:

• Preference for candidates with a 3rd class power engineering ticket.
• At least two years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
• Proven mechanical aptitude for hands-on operation of plant equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Attach your TSSA operating tickets with your application to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment, adhering to plant policies.
• Learn all operating units within your assigned area and progressively take on more responsibilities.
• Perform plant operation duties to ensure smooth and efficient processes, maintaining communication between shifts.
• Report hazards and escalate plant-related issues beyond your scope to your supervisor.
• Maintain daily logs and communicate significant changes promptly.
• Oversee maintenance and contracted personnel as needed.
• Take timely actions during plant upsets to meet operational objectives.
• Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning.

Location and Key Details:

• Based at our Ethanol facility in Ontario, 535 Rokeby Line, Mooretown, ON.
• Shift schedule: 12-hour rotations of days and nights (three on, three off).
• This position is safety sensitive.
