Job summary

E.B. Horsman & Son is hiring a Process Instrumentation Business Developer to grow our PI portfolio in Southern Alberta. You will promote PAC products, work with customers and partners, and provide technical presales and post-sales support.

The role reports to the PAC Territory Manager and involves travel within Alberta with some head-office visits as needed. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Process Instrumentation and 3+ years in outside sales, plus strong MS Office, CRM, and Teams skills,

Qualifications

• Requires a diploma or degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in Process Instrumentation, Automation, and Control.
• 3+ years in a technical outside sales role.
• Proficient in MS Office and cloud-based platforms like Teams and CRM systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to present to customers.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Promote PI products and services to new and existing customers.
• Call on end users, OEMs, system integrators, and engineers to drive sales.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on opportunities.
• Support branch teams with technical expertise and pricing data.
• Develop and deliver training materials for customers and staff.
• Ensure quality control and high standards in daily activities.
