Job summary

ThedaCare seeks a Process Improvement Project Manager to lead initiatives that streamline healthcare processes, deliver projects on time and within budget, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

This role involves developing charters, workflows, risk management, and performance metrics while coaching teams and reporting outcomes to stakeholders. Travel across Milwaukee and Fox Valley required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or engineering.
  • 3–5 years of proven project management success.
  • Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project charters, workflows, executive summaries, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify inefficiencies and redesign processes to improve performance.
  • Implement strategies such as process reengineering, automation, and standardization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams and workshops to drive progress.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to ensure project alignment and outcomes.
  • Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely completion.
  • Establish and report on success metrics to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and execution.

As a Process Improvement Project Manager, you'll lead initiatives aimed at integrating, streamlining, and optimizing business processes—ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role is all about collaboration, process redesign, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Note: This is a system-wide role with travel required across the Milwaukee and Fox Valley areas.

  • Develop project charters, workflows, executive summaries, timelines, and resource allocation plans

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or engineering-related field
  • PMP certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of proven project management success
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Skilled in Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and meeting facilitation
  • Must be able to move freely, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Category 1: Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • Office-based with occasional exposure to clinical settings, sharp instruments, chemicals, and equipment
