Job description

Process Improvement Specialist (Enterprise)

Compensation: $110,000-$115,000 annual base salary + bonus

Who Are We?

We are a strategic recruitment agency specializing in connecting skilled professionals with top employers across Canada and the United States. Our holistic approach ensures that both technical and cultural alignment lead to long-term success for all parties involved.

Why Are We Looking for You?

We are proud to support a well-established organization in the specialty healthcare and pharmaceutical services industry in hiring a Process Improvement Specialist.

This role will support continuous improvement initiatives across the entire organization, working with multiple business units, corporate functions, and operational environments. The successful candidate will lead process mapping, modelling, analysis, implementation, and performance monitoring activities. Projects may range from immediate corrective actions to complex, enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.

This is not a manufacturing or production-line-focused continuous improvement role. The successful candidate must have experience improving business processes across a range of functions and departments, such as operations, finance, technology, customer or patient services, distribution, human resources, and other corporate or enablement functions.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced process improvement professional who can evaluate complex, cross-functional business operations, influence stakeholders at all levels, and translate findings into practical and sustainable improvements.

What’s In It for You?
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful process improvement initiatives across a growing national organization
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • Flexible four weeks of PTO days
  • A collaborative, people-focused culture that values new ideas and continuous improvement
  • Exposure to diverse business units, corporate functions, operational teams, and senior leadership
  • Involvement in both day-to-day operational improvements and large-scale business transformation projects
  • Opportunity to develop and maintain enterprise-wide process models
  • Travel between Canadian offices and operational sites
What Will You Do?
  • Complete process mapping, modelling, analysis, and design activities to improve performance across operational, corporate, and business support functions
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide process models involving multiple business units and functional areas
  • Partner with stakeholders across all areas of the business to understand how processes, systems, teams, and decisions connect across the organization
  • Assess existing workflows and identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare, facilitate, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Plan, execute, and monitor cross-functional process improvement projects from initial assessment through implementation
  • Establish project plans, timelines, performance measures, and implementation requirements
  • Manage project risks, organizational change, and stakeholder expectations
  • Monitor process performance data to identify trends and potential improvement initiatives
  • Support the development and implementation of corrective actions
  • Collaborate extensively with operational, corporate, technology, and enablement teams across the organization
  • Help ensure that improvements are practical, measurable, sustainable, and aligned with organizational standards
  • Occasional travel across Canada
What Do You Bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • At least seven years of experience planning, implementing, and managing change through process improvement projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide or cross-functional process improvement initiatives involving multiple departments and business units
  • Experience improving both operational and corporate business processes, with the ability to work effectively across all areas and levels of an organization
  • Strong experience with process mapping, modelling, analysis, redesign, implementation, and performance monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to manage improvement projects involving multiple stakeholders, systems, functions, and business units
  • Experience facilitating discussions and presenting findings and recommendations to operational teams, corporate functions, and senior leaders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and guide teams through operational and organizational change
  • Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 or another recognized process modelling language
  • Training or certification in Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, or another process improvement methodology is preferred
  • Training or certification in root cause analysis, project management, or change management is a strong asset
  • Experience within pharmacy, infusion clinics, patient support programs, pharmaceutical distribution, or drug wholesale operations is an asset
  • Knowledge of provincial pharmacy college requirements and Health Canada regulations affecting the pharmaceutical supply chain is an asset
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays
  • Strong English communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders

Please note: Candidates whose process improvement experience has been focused primarily or exclusively on manufacturing production lines, plant-floor optimization, equipment efficiency, or shop-floor Lean initiatives may not have the broader cross‑functional business experience required for this position.
