Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will work with the Engineering team on projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficient resource utilization throughout the production process.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Develop and assess processes related to the production line and equipment usage, collaborating closely with the Engineering team.
2. Uphold and enforce health & safety, quality GMP, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
3. Conduct troubleshooting of major process issues beyond the capabilities of the operating team.
4. Implement process control measures to maintain product quality and optimize production line performance.
5. Design new methods and equipment enhancements to improve productivity and streamline processes.
6. Participate in discussions on operational challenges, safety protocols, food safety, maintenance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, including documentation.
7. Undertake special projects as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of process engineering experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience as an application engineer or in continuous improvement roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with data collection systems and equipment systems.
• Ability to gather business requirements and develop solutions.
• Experience with manufacturing measurement instruments such as scales, scanning, and vision systems.
