Our client in Hamilton is looking for a Process Engineer to support the growth of their operations.

In this role, you will support the site team to implement scalable, standardized processes that ensure consistent quality and throughput. You will also have the opportunity to create processes and generate materials to support onboarding and the success of future team members.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will...

• Help develop core SOPs for production, material handling, LOI, and particle size testing, and process changes
• Help optimize daily output and quality targets by system (crusher, dryer, separators, ball mill, etc.)
• Design and implement a "ramp-up" production plan with controlled throughput increases and KPI tracking
• Review inventory of critical equipment and manufacturer recommendations
• Assist the plant in resolving top process and mechanical stress points / bottlenecks
• Create a lightweight system for logging and approving equipment, process, or parameter changes
• Develop job aids, basic training materials, and onboarding tools for new operators and engineers

Qualifications

As a strong candidate for this role, you have...

• A degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering
• Hands-on experience within chemical or glass manufacturing
• Experience creating standardized processes
