Position Summary

Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our Windsor, Ontario location. This is a hands-on, full-time position responsible for driving best-in-class results through the development of people and processes. The role involves providing the manufacturing shop with necessary documentation to produce products following best practice manufacturing procedures. *This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pay range is between $75,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review customer PO and prints, and create Production / Inspection Plans that enable verification against customer requirements (traveler package).
2. Update the Production / Inspection Plan documentation as changes occur.
3. Create and update Master Process Template plans for production parts.
4. Plan and maintain documents required to ensure compliance with product and customer requirements, and effective control of operations and processes.
5. Provide engineering support to manufacturing by acting as an interface to resolve manufacturing problems on the assembly floor.
6. Review customer specifications, define raw materials needed for purchasing, and submit requisitions on the company-approved form.
7. Assist in estimating parts in accordance with company procedures when needed.
8. Serve as the point of contact for the disposition of engineering change orders and deviations.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

1. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace industry experience is preferred.
2. Strong understanding of machining processes (milling, turning, EDM).
3. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
4. CAD surfacing and solid modeling experience (Cimatron experience is an asset).
5. Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
6. Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding note requirements, tolerance blocks, geometric tolerances, and print orientation.
