Job summary

Novatech is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Canadian manufacturing team. You will develop, implement and monitor efficient processes and workflows, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The role focuses on optimizing production methods, reducing waste and improving quality and safety across operations. We value strong analytical skills, teamwork and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, implement and maintain production process flow.

  • Design and optimize production systems for efficiency.
  • Review process flows, schedules and engineering specs.
  • Ensure products meet high quality standards via control systems.
  • Collaborate with management, engineers and customers on standards.

The Company is currently recruiting for aProcess Engineerto join our team. The Process Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible to develop, implement and monitor and maintain efficient and effective manufacturing processes and workflows.

Job Duties:

  • Organize, implement and maintain production process flow.
  • Find opportunities/methods to minimize waste and improve performance and safety.
  • Study product requirements and technical standards.
  • Utilize complex mathematical methods and models to utilize/recommend information systems and manufacturing methods to meet these standards proficiently.
  • Focuses on the design, analysis, and optimization of business production systems.
  • Develop further understanding of manufacturing methods by reviewing process flows, production schedules, and engineering specifications.
  • Determine how to manufacture products or deliver services with greatest efficiency.
  • Establish management control systems for cost analysis and optimal budget planning.
  • Execute quality control processes to resolve problems in production cost-effectively.
  • Work with management, engineers, and customers to develop new standards for production.
  • Ensure that products meet high quality standards by designing control systems for production planning.
  • Communicate with vendors about purchases, managers about manufacturing capabilities, clients on product specifications, and team members on project statuses.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience in Production, Materials in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Solid ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong teamwork, communication and organization skills;
  • Exceptional problem resolution and analysis skills;
  • Must demonstrate competence in all Health and Safety;
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality;

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience including project management.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering.
