Coldstream Clear’s operations team works to maximize efficiency and execute many improvements internally throughout operations. Operations include a main production facility in Truro, Nova Scotia as well as four retail locations in Stewiacke, Dartmouth, Antigonish, and Truro, totaling over 100 employees throughout. We are a very fast-paced, growing company that routinely pushes status quos and industry standards. This is especially true in manufacturing process design, efficiencies, quality, and reliability. Our technical team adds significant value by evaluating, engineering, planning, budgeting, and self performing a variety of specialized construction projects.
We are seeking a skilled and hands‑on Process Technician to support our production facility through technical troubleshooting, process optimization, and preventative maintenance. This role will focus on automation systems, PLCs, robotics, and production equipment including product blending & mixing equipment, bottling line, c anning line, and warehouse operations. The Process Technician role will primarily act as the first and main line of defence on reactive problem solving of all process unit operations. This role will also have the heaviest influence of any individual team member in improving process operations to be more reliable through routine adjustments and the implementation of robust and organized preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will embody and a passion and mentality for building, This will need to be demonstrated through systems & processes, as well as physical improvements that support our team and reliable production output. The process technician will also play a key role in new equipment installations, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation under LEAN methodologies (daily operational checklists, total ownership of equipment and work zones, and more), and company-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance, this role bridges hands‑on technical execution with structured process improvement, ensuring equipment safety, reliability, and efficiency.
