Job summary

CLV Group is seeking a Business Process Specialist to join its Business Innovation & AI Team in Ottawa. The role focuses on process improvement, automation, and AI adoption across the organization, leveraging tools like Power Automate, Python, Claude and GPT.

You’ll map processes, identify inefficiencies, and deploy automation to enable scalable growth, while collaborating with stakeholders and senior leadership to demonstrate impact.

Qualifications

• degree in a STEM field as listed
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving using technology
• Experience leading quantitative research projects in academic or professional settings
• Strong proficiency in automation tools, Python scripting, and low-code platforms
• Excellent collaboration and ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts
• Experience with dashboard technologies including Power BI and Tableau
• Continuous learning mindset willing to experiment with new tools and ideas

Responsibilities

• Support migration and adoption of AI-driven tools and digital workflows across the organization.
• Partner with teams to map current processes, identify inefficiencies, and design automation opportunities.
• Extract, clean, analyze and visualize large datasets using Python & R.
• Prototype, test, and deploy automation solutions using low-code and AI tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Create documentation, training materials, and visual process maps to aid adoption.
• Monitor outcomes, report progress to senior management and identify new opportunities.
• Stay curious and forward-thinking to enhance digital capability and innovation.
