The Home Depot in Edmonton, Canada is seeking a Pro Account Sales Associate (PASA) to build relationships with industrial, commercial and professional customers and share product knowledge across store departments. You will act as a sales floor resource, assist with quotes, orders, and delivering outstanding service.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of receiving or related experience, with strong communication and sales skills to help customers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.
• Pro Account Sales Associates sell to industrial, commercial and other professional customers and require knowledge of store departments.

Responsabilités

• Spends at least 25% of time pursuing new business on the sales floor.
• Develops one-on-one relationships with Pro customers and anticipates their needs.
• Demonstrates upselling and closing techniques to meet customer needs and complete projects.
• Maintains an organized system for profiling and tracking top accounts and developing new ones.
• Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction and pursues future business.
• Strives to meet personal and team sales goals with action plans.
• Delivers sales presentations to potential customers outside the store when required.
• Creates customer quotes and processes orders accurately including fax, phone and counter orders.
• Ensures orders are picked up and delivered by checking customer logbook.
