Job summary

The Home Depot is hiring a Pro Account Sales Associate (Saanich) to build relationships with industrial and professional customers and drive sales across store departments. You will provide product knowledge, create quotes, and process orders while maintaining an organized and welcoming sales floor.

Ideal candidates have customer service/sales experience and the ability to engage Pro customers, upsell, and meet personal and team goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with Pro customers.
• Knowledge of Home Depot products and store operations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Spend at least 25% of time pursuing new Pro business on the sales floor.
• Develop one-on-one relationships with Pro customers and anticipate their needs.
• Upsell and close sales using product knowledge and service.
• Keep top accounts profiled and maintain an organized work area.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure future business.
• Meet personal and team sales goals with action plans with a supervisor.
