Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide coordinated medical and clinical nursing care within our facility network and virtual programs. You will partner with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care and a therapeutic milieu for patients while following established standards of care and policies.

The role includes on-call shifts, on-site work in Colorado, and a compensation range of $40–$49 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse License in state position is held.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of nursing services including assessment, care planning, administering treatment, and evaluating patient response to care.
• Communicates and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Participates in interdisciplinary meetings regarding patient progress and planning for continued interventions.
• Participates in training, teaching, and mentoring new nursing department teammates.
• Responds to emergency situations until EMS/911 arrive on scene.

Shift: 2 scheduled NOC shifts per month and 2 on call NOC shifts per month 6:00pm-6:30am; need to be able to work at other Denver Facilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to meet the needs of each assigned patient within the ERC Pathlight system. They will partner with aninterdisciplinary team to provide quality care and aconsistentlytherapeutic milieu for all patients.

As a leader of the health care team, the RN provides professional nursing care,utilizingsound clinical judgement, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s established standards of care, policies, and procedures. They are expectedto remainflexible,demonstrateeffective, efficient care whilemaintainingquality, in alignment with ERC Pathlight’s vision, mission, and strategic plan. All teammates are expected to treat patients, families, and co-workers with dignity and respect. The RN maybe requiredto work on-call shifts based on business needs,in accordance withapplicable federal, state, and local labor laws.

Essential duties andresponsibilities:

• Performs a full range of nursing services including assessment, care planning, administering treatment, and evaluating patient response to care in accordance with the patient’s treatment plan
  • Performs initial intake assessment of new patients and discharge reconciliation and education
  • Places, receives, and completes provider orders per ERCP policy
  • Administers medications via multiple routes in accordance with ERCP policy and provider orders
  • Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing in accordance with ERCP policy and laboratory vendor protocols
  • Places/maintains nasogastric tubes and administers enteral feeding
  • Places/maintains intravenous access and administers intravenous fluids
  • Performs wound care
  • Documents all direct patient care, monitoring, and observation in the electronic medical record
  • Supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Behavioral Health Technicians
• Communicates and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement an individualized treatment plan for each assigned patient
  • Ensures care provided aligns with the individualized treatment plan and patient outcome goals
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings regarding patient progress toward treatment goals and planning for continued or changing clinical interventions
  • Documents and reports to treatment team regarding patient status and progress
• Participates in training, teaching, and mentoring new nursing department teammates
• Responds to emergency situations until emergency medical services (EMS/911) arrive on scene

• 1 year+ working with patients in the mental health field(Preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

Colorado pay range

$40 — $49 USD
