Job summary

Axis Insurance Managers Inc. is seeking an Account Executive VIP in Vancouver to grow its Personal insurance book through direct relationships, quoting, binding, cross-selling, and strategic partnerships with insurers.

You will manage top clients, lead growth initiatives, and collaborate with the BSAA Personal Lines team to expand market share while maintaining exceptional client service and broker support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Personal insurance experience.
• LICENCE: General Insurance Agent Level 2 or equivalent with ability to obtain BC license.
• CAIB/CIP/CRM or other designations are assets.
• Post Secondary Degree considered an asset.
• Experience using EPIC broker management system an asset.
• Experience with a Sales CRM (HubSpot) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a marketing strategy to grow the Personal insurance book of business through direct relationships with existing and new Commercial lines business.
• Managing an insurance book of business, ensuring clients have the necessary coverage; quoting and binding coverage; cross- and up-selling where possible.
• Selling brokerage services to reach target revenue and activity quota.
• Conducting regular review meetings with clients to service and identify opportunities for new prospecting activities.
• Maintaining a highly technical and service-oriented relationship with clients and underwriter.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with insurers to secure favorable pricing and claims handling.
