Job summary

Axis Insurance Managers Inc. in Canada seeks an Account Manager to support customer service and account execution. You will handle administration, invoicing, endorsements, and claims communications, ensuring accurate, timely processing of documents and ongoing client updates.

The role requires 2–3 years in commercial insurance, appropriate licenses, and experience with broker systems. We offer competitive benefits, growth opportunities, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years Commercial insurance experience.
• General Insurance Agent Level 2 license through province of residence. Level 1 acceptable with RIBO equivalence.
• A Level 1 license is acceptable with commensurate experience and/or active pursuit of Level 2 license.
• CAIB, CIP, CRM or other insurance designations considered an asset.
• Post secondary degree considered an asset.
• Experience using EPIC broker management system an asset.

Responsibilities

• Issuing invoices, endorsements, Cover Notes, financing contracts, etc.
• Handling claims, including reporting to insurers, inputting data, and updating clients on claims status.
• Managing daily administration of accounts, including correspondence; review of policy wordings, contracts, & lease agreements; and issuance of new/renewal documentation.
• Working Accounts Receivable lists.
• Maintaining expiration lists and abeyances.
• Ensuring all documents are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner.
• Preparing monthly bordereaux and submit to market and association as required.
• Other duties, as assigned.

MustHaves:

• Minimum 2-3 years Commercial insurance experience, consistently meeting internal core competencies
• General Insurance Agent Level 2 license through the individual’s province of residence. Level 1 is sufficient for RIBO.
• A Level 1 license is acceptable with commensurate experience &/or active pursuit of a Level 2 license. Level 1 RIBO is sufficient for Ontario residents.
• CAIB, CIP, CRM or other insurance designations considered an assetPost Secondary Degree considered an asset
• Experience using EPIC broker management system an asset
