Job summary

RBC PH&N Investment Counsel in Victoria, Canada seeks an assistant to support Investment Counsellors with daily portfolio maintenance and client service for high net worth clients. You will help with administration, documentation, and timely trade processing in a dynamic team environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in the investment industry, strong English communication, and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Investment Industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under high pressure.
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries, administrative errors, etc.
  • Be a key support to the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team.
  • Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances.
  • Maintain records and files and attend client meetings as required.
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings / calls.
  • Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures.
  • Assist other team members and continue to strengthen cross-business working relationships.

RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (“RBC PH&N IC”) is one of Canada’s leading boutique investment counselling firms with investment professionals nationwide acting exclusively for high-net-worth clients and small business owners. We provide clients with discretionary investment management and privileged access to the expertise of our RBC Wealth Management Services team which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists.

As part of a dynamic team in Victoria, you will be responsible for assisting the Investment Counsellor and other members of the team in providing daily portfolio maintenance and administration and superior service to RBC PH&N Investment Counsel high net worth Clients. What will you do?

The expected salary range for the above position is $41,000 - 60,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
