Job summary

Introba in BC and Western Canada seeks a Principal, Electrical Engineer to lead a high-performing team delivering mission-driven healthcare and institutional projects while driving innovation, mentorship, and strong client relationships.

You will shape sustainable design, manage budgets and KPIs, and promote smart building technologies, energy optimization, and LEED/Passive House goals, with hybrid/remote work options.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of electrical design experience, including major institutional and healthcare projects.
• Proven leadership experience with at least 5 direct reports.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in BC (EGBC).
• LEED AP and/or Passive House certification preferred.
• Experience with telecommunications, security systems, and emerging smart building technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Set and manage project budgets, team revenue targets, and labour forecasts.
• Serve as principal liaison for key clients and develop new project opportunities.
• Provide oversight on technical quality and delivery for all electrical systems.
