Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level expertise in designing clinical trial protocols and regulatory-grade data interpretation for AI training workflows. This fully remote hourly contract role offers flexible hours and the chance to impact AI systems used by researchers and clinicians.

You will interpret trial results for regulators, audit analyses for regulatory readiness, and provide feedback to improve AI model reasoning on clinical endpoints.

Qualifications

• Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission.
• Experience interpreting clinical data for regulators such as FDA, EMA, or equivalents.
• Strong grounding in clinical research methodology and biostatistics.
• Detail-oriented, precise written communicator with regulatory mindset.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously across topics.

Responsibilities

• Design and critically review clinical trial protocols for regulator-ready datasets for AI training and evaluation.
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results to verify accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory appropriateness.
• Provide expert, structured feedback to improve AI models' reasoning about trial data, endpoints, and outcomes.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
