Nova Scotia Health Authority in Halifax is seeking a Primary Care Paramedic for the Emergency Department. The role reports to Health Services Manager and supports physicians and nurses in patient care.
Responsibilities include medication administration within scope, IV initiation, fluids, blood work and CPR, urine analysis and pregnancy testing. Candidates must have paramedic certification or equivalent and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia. BLS-C required.

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Primary Care Paramedic is responsible for providing support to Physicians and nurses and assist in patient care. Duties include but are not limited to medication administration (within scope of practice) IV initiation and fluid administration, blood work, CPR urine analysis and pregnancy testing.
Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
$32.16 - $36.79 Hourly
