HOURS OF WORK: Rotating days and nights, weekends, and statutory holidays. Subject to change due to operational requirements.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Written and spoken competency in one of the two official languages (English or French) is required and spoken competency in the other official language is required.

Clinical expectations and responsibilities for Primary Care Paramedics are based on the current National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) for Primary Care Paramedics, Paramedic Association of New Brunswick registration requirements as well as Ambulance NB policies, procedures and protocols.
Our paramedics provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals. Given the unpredictability of clinical presentations in the field, they are skilled in emergency techniques and well‑versed in various medical treatments. “First on scene” in times of crisis, they don’t leave until the job’s done.
