This position reports to

Product Management Manager

Your role and responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain pricing strategies aligned with global division strategy, considering value, competition, and cost/profit.
2. Follow and ensure adherence to established pricing guidelines within the organization.
3. Propose strategic and operational pricing adjustments for approval by the Product Manager.
4. Manage local pricing information to ensure accurate internal transfer pricing.
5. Develop cross-divisional pricing concepts for consistency in agreements and key accounts.
6. Act as the interface between sales, factories, and product management for special pricing requests.
7. Analyze sales and financial data to measure pricing strategy effectiveness and provide regular reports.
8. Manage special pricing requests and maintain pricing information in the system to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a related field. Experience in roles requiring strong analytical skills, such as a Pricing Analyst or similar, is highly beneficial.
• Bilingual in French and English; written and spoken. French is required; English is also required for communication with customers outside Quebec.
• 2 to 5 years of industry experience, including understanding market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
• Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and product management to align pricing strategies with business goals.
• High customer focus, with a good sense of urgency and ownership.
• Team-oriented, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is an asset.
