Job summary

Cardinal Health Canada seeks a Consultant, Pricing Operations & Controls to monitor pricing performance, profitability and compliance across the pricing lifecycle. This hybrid role, based in Vaughan, partners with internal stakeholders to keep pricing controls effective and risks identified early to protect gross profit.

The role requires 4–8 years in FP&A or pricing with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and familiarity with SQL/Tableau/BigQuery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/math/analytics or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, pricing or analytical/strategic roles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data presented in charts and tables.
• Ability to document processes and drive improvements addressing root causes.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial impact to stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel required; SQL, Tableau or BigQuery are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand product/category strategy, financial objectives and pricing expectations to align controls with business priorities.
• Protect revenue by analyzing gross profit performance and pricing exceptions.
• Monitor pricing controls, governance standards, customer agreements, supplier contracts and policy adherence.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to track pricing controls and identify process gaps.
• Identify emerging pricing issues early and drive corrective actions to prevent impact to customers.
• Provide data-driven insights, performance reporting and trend analysis to leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes and sustainable enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to improve pricing performance.
• Manage price realization initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
