Job summary

OpTalent is partnering with a growing transportation and logistics provider to hire a Pricing Coordinator. The role focuses on analyzing rates, costs, and profitability while maintaining customer-specific pricing across the business.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to develop competitive pricing solutions and support profitable growth. A strong emphasis on details and data-driven decisions will be essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, freight, logistics, trucking, or 3PL environments.
• Experience in pricing, operations, customer service, dispatch, logistics coordination, or related function.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret rates, costs, and profitability data.
• Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS); TruckMate is an asset.
• Strong communication skills across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer pricing proposals, quotations, and rate requests.
• Analyze transportation costs, margins, lane profitability, and service requirements to set competitive pricing.
• Maintain customer-specific rate agreements, tariffs, and pricing schedules.
• Update pricing within internal systems and ensure rate accuracy.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to support new business opportunities and renewals.
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, billing issues, and rate inquiries.
• Monitor market trends and transportation costs to support pricing decisions.
• Generate reports and provide analysis for commercial and operational decisions.

You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to develop competitive pricing solutions, maintain customer rates, and support profitable growth across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare customer pricing proposals, quotations, and rate requests

What We're Looking For
