Job summary

RiseMe in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a pricing specialist to monitor market trends, respond quickly to quoting needs, and maintain rate programs to deliver accurate, high‑value pricing solutions for carriers and customers.

You will collaborate with leadership to develop compliant cost/prices strategies and proposals, negotiate freight rates for domestic and cross-border TL/LTL, rail, road, and air, and support winning proposals with timely, precise pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years logistics experience in the transportation industry.
• Experience in cross-border shipping, full-truckload as well as less-than-truckload.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL, rail, road, and air.
• Collaborate with leaders and business development to develop compliant cost/prices strategies and proposals.
• Create customer proposals and ensure best pricing is presented in each proposal.
• Maintain professional communication with Directors throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies.
• Research and track competitor pricing and market trends.
• Maintain and improve existing pricing processes and costs.
• Respond quickly to spot quotes.
• Upload rates and maintain rate programs in TMS software.
• Be available after hours to assist with pricing issues.
• Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships.
