Job summary

Wolseley Canada, a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC/R and industrial products, seeks a Pricing Analyst for Burlington, ON. The role focuses on data development within the Pricing Centre, price maintenance tooling, and supporting market-driven pricing decisions with strong Excel/Access skills.

Ideal candidates bring data analytics capabilities, experience in wholesale distribution, and familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or KNIME. Bilingual French/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel and Access at an advanced level.
• Familiar with database tools and concepts via Access.
• Analytical skills using data-based statistical concepts.
• Self-motivated, highly organized and process oriented.
• Experience in Wholesale Distribution (Plumbing/HVAC/WW/Industrial).
• Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
• Experience with Tableau is an asset.
• Experience with KNIME is an asset.
• Fluency in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data development efforts within Pricing Centre.
• Pull, track and distribute improved data for Weekly Price Maintenance Tools.
• Perform price matrix analysis to support market changes and promotions.
• Support data quality and logic for internal/external optimization tools.
• Provide routine and ad-hoc reports; respond to inquiries; work overtime as needed.

Must keep this process on schedule.* Perform price matrix analysis to support market/customer changes, promotions and private label initiatives.* Support data quality and logic of internal or external Optimization tools as these tools roll-out.* Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment utilizing strong teamwork and communication skills.* Responds to external inquiries for information, creates reports to support quality data output and to provide management information, generates ongoing routine reports as well as ad-hoc reports when needed.* Work overtime as needed.
