Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location. The role involves completing on‑site preventive maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment utilizing state‑of‑the‑art technologies and a purpose‑built truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner.
• Identify and report additional items that require follow‑up service work by a heavy‑duty technician.
• Ensure accurate capture and reporting of preventive maintenance checklists, inspections, and work order information for customer reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Motivated, energetic, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work after‑hours and/or participate in shift work as required to support customer needs.
• Must possess a DZ licence.
• Recent driver’s abstract required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating, servicing, or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment.
• Trade experience to a second‑ or third‑year apprentice level is encouraged.
• Proven experience in a service‑oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators.
