Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our Fredericton, NB team. You will visit customer sites to perform preventative maintenance on CAT equipment, document work, and nurture customer relationships while coordinating service schedules with the team.

The role requires post-secondary education, CAT E.T./SIS/DBS knowledge, and a valid Ontario driver’s licence is an asset. We offer competitive wages and a total rewards package with flexible schedules and opportunities

Qualifications

• CAT E.T., SIS or DBS knowledge preferred
• Post-secondary education completed
• Ontario driver’s licence (DZ an asset)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound work behaviours and follow HSE policies
• Complete lubrication services and repairs
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with customers
• Document service and repair information
• Promote preventative maintenance capabilities to customers
• Organise inventory of lube truck equipment and stock
• Conduct minor warranty repairs
• Perform 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 hour services including valve sets
• Maintain positive customer relations at all times

Toromont Cat is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Fredericton, NB! The PM Technician will be responsible for going to customer sites, providing superior service for equipment preventative maintenance. Maintaining customer relationships as well as relationships with the Technician team.

Compensation

$40.20

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Complete lubrication services and repairs
• Coordinate convenient preventative maintenance service scheduling with customers
• Document all service and repair information
• Promote preventative maintenance/lube service capabilities to customers
• Organize and control inventory of all lube truck equipment and truck stock
• Conduct minor warranty repairs
• Conduct 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 hour services including valve sets
• Proactively and responsibly maintain positive customer relations at all times

Must have for this position:

• Minimum post-secondary education
• Knowledge of CAT E.T., SIS or DBS systems, an asset
• A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence (DZ is an asset)
