Job summary

Kibbi in Edmonton, Canada is seeking a valve service technician to provide quality workmanship, diagnose, repair and recondition pressure relief valves. You will inspect internal parts, document critical dimensions, and ensure accurate service records while maintaining a professional image.

Role requires clear communication with customers and team, willingness to learn new software, and adherence to health and safety programs. Training may occur during or after hours.

Qualifications

  • Basic Pressure Relief Valve experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication with customers.
  • Ability to learn new software and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Clean valves for inspection and document critical dimensions.
  • Diagnose, repair, maintain and recondition valves.
  • Update and maintain valve documentation and servicing records.
  • Paint and tag valves as required, and complete service paperwork.
  • Communicate needs with Branch Supervisor/Manager and participate in safety training.
  • Complete work orders and maintain a professional company image.
  • Participate in on–the–job and manufacturer training; follow health & safety practices.
