Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Technician for the Valve Business Unit in Edmonton, AB. The role focuses on assembling, stamping and testing valve components, while maintaining high standards of production documentation and safety.

Responsibilities include hydrostatic and air testing, painting to safety standards, identifying non-conformances, and recording data in SAP. A strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude for assembly and testing of valve components.
  • Attention to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Good written and verbal communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, stamp and test valve components per production orders.
  • Hydrostatic and low-pressure air testing of finished valves.
  • Ensure painting operations follow safety regulations.
  • Identify non-conformances by separation/marking.
  • Record time and materials in SAP per work orders and traveler requirements.
  • Maintain traceability data for finished products and components.
  • Report equipment or downtime issues to lead hand/supervisor.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
