Job summary

Polycorp Ltd. in Elora, Ontario, is seeking Pressline Operators to join our production team.

You will safely operate compression presses, load and unload rubber, and keep to quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with responsibilities including following schedules, performing pre-start checks, inspects parts, documenting production data, and adhering to ISO 9001 and Polycorp's QMS.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Priorities are: 1) work safely 2) good quality 3) meet or exceed required production numbers.
• Follow press line schedule and routers.
• Load / unload rubber from presses using forklifts.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and visual appearance.
• NCRs filled out properly with clear, accurate explanation.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and Polycorp's QMS conformance.
