The Edmonton Islamic Academy is seeking a qualified Preschool Program Coordinator to manage the daily operations of their preschool. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education, experience in early childhood development, and strong management skills to ensure high-quality, inclusive programs for children. Responsibilities include staff oversight, financial management, and compliance with government regulations while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children.
EIA is seeking a qualified Preschool Program Coordinator (PPC) who will oversee the daily operations and administration of the Edmonton Islamic Academy Preschool. The PPC is a key member of an administrative team that works together to support the mission and vision of the Edmonton Islamic Academy. The selected candidate will report directly to the principal or an assigned designate and must attain a Bachelor of Education and be experienced in the field of Early Childhood Development. The PPC’s responsibilities include monitoring the educational program and student development, supervision and recruitment of staff, ensuring strong student enrolment, marketing and communication, financial management, and communication with the EIA community at large.
To be successful as the PPC, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong administrative and budgeting abilities, as well as love for children. You should uphold the mission and vision of the preschool with pride and ensure that the preschool meets the relevant standard set by the Province of Alberta. Ultimately, a top-notch Preschool Coordinator will determine the needs of the preschool, protect the health and safety of children, work closely with the teachers and report to the EIA administration.
