Job summary

Aramark Canada is hiring full-time Prep Cooks for Carleton University’s Teraanga Commons Dining Hall. You’ll assist the culinary team, cook on the line, and prepare stations while delivering excellent customer service to guests on campus.

You will maintain a clean work area, follow food safety guidelines, and support daily menu preparation under supervision. This role offers growth opportunities within a large hospitality organization.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.
• Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards.
• Enjoy working with others in a team setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chef and Cooks with preparation of daily menu.
• Cook on the line, grill, and use ovens.
• Prepare stations with food.
• Assembly of cooked products.
• Serve food while providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area.
• Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
