Job summary

Cascades Casino in Penticton is seeking a Host/Hostess for casual, guest-facing service. You’ll welcome guests, manage seating, and support servers with expediting and bussing in a lively casino restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates bring hostess experience, cash handling with POS, and a passion for hospitality. Certifications like Serving It Right and World Host are a plus; flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Host/hostess experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Tourism, promotion, marketing, entertainment or event training preferred.
• Serving It Right (BC) certification preferred.
• World Host / Super Host or similar customer service programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and provide a premium guest experience.
• initiate conversations with guests and manage guest flow.
• Assist servers with food and beverage expediting, bussing and cleaning.
• Process reservations and plan seating arrangements.
• Adapt to multiple tasks and work well under pressure with flexible hours.
