Job summary

Seventh Heaven Event Catering is seeking freelance Catering Server or Banquet Server to support weddings, corporate events, private parties, and upscale gatherings in the GTA and Halton.

You'll assist with preparing service areas, setting up tables and linens, and during events pass hors d'oeuvres, aid plated dinners, and manage buffet stations. Afterward you help break down and tidy the venue, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, banquet service, restaurant work, or event hospitality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; lift and move catering equipment.
• Reliable transportation to events across the GTA.
• Professional appearance and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service areas, set up tables and linens, and ensure readiness for guests.
• Provide professional service during events, including passing hors d'oeuvres and assisting with plated dinners; support buffet stations.
• Work with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to maintain high service standards.
• After events, assist with breakdown, clearing tables, packing equipment, and ensuring the venue is organized.
• Roles may include opportunities as Event Supervisor for leadership responsibilities.
