Job summary

Great Events Catering in Calgary is seeking multiple casual catering servers to join our event team. You will help deliver memorable experiences at weddings, corporate events, galas, and other celebrations across Calgary and surrounding areas.

As a Catering Server, you will provide friendly, professional service, serve various food setups, clear and reset tables, and assist with event setup and teardown. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Great Events Catering is looking for multiple Casual Catering Servers to join our event team.

We cater a wide variety of events throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, including weddings, corporate events, galas, private celebrations, receptions, and large-scale special events.

What You'll Do

As a Catering Server, you'll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Depending on the event, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing friendly, professional, and attentive guest service
• Serving plated meals, buffets, cocktail receptions, and passed appetizers
• Serving food and beverages throughout events
• Setting and resetting tables
• Carrying trays and clearing plates, glassware, and cutlery
• Replenishing buffets, beverage stations, and service areas
• Maintaining clean and organized guest and service areas
• Assisting with event setup and teardown
• Working closely with Event Captains, Managers, kitchen, and bar teams
• Following food safety, liquor service, and workplace safety procedures

Previous experience in catering, banquet service, restaurants, hotels, weddings, or events is an asset.
